Global Drivers 2030-2060
Overview
The Global Drivers of the 2030-2060 time horizon were identified as part of a project by futurists from SAP and the University of Houston. The project conducted a meta-study examining 677 candidate drivers from publicly available foresight reports from around the world. Please read the Global Drivers 2030-2060 project overview for a high-level summary of the project.
Two new contributions to the foresight field were made as part of the project:
- The PPEPSIII Framework expands the number of categories compared to STEEP and encompasses key tensions at play.
- Initial thoughts on finding common conventions to define drivers, as captured in the article, Define Driver.
Initial project researchers: David Jonker, Eben Kowler, Sarah Wheeler, Dan Wellers, Andy Hines, Laura Schlehuber, John A. Sweeney, JT Mudge, Seth Harrell, Tom Rau
