Future of Communities in North Carolina 2040

Houston foresight explores the long-term future of communities in North Carolina on behalf of Civic FCU. The project used Houston's Framework Foresight approach with the 2×2 uncertainty scenario technique.

The project used the Framework Foresight approach and the 2x2 uncertainty matrix The principal components of the project are:

• Framing and scanning
• Research and interviews: trends, stakeholders, issues, plans
• Drivers and uncertainties
• Scenarios
• Recommendations: strategic options and issues, integrated strategic approach, community development models, getting started
