Welcome! Here are some important links to help you understand Open Foresight Hub's mission, how the platform works, and how you can help.

Our mission

The Castle and the Village Square- Our founding manifesto. We believe that foresight is most successful when it is conducted openly and collaboratively in the village square, not behind an organization's castle walls.

In the coming decades, organizations will be facing the same issues and drivers of change. No organization can face these issues alone. When enough people share perspectives about better futures, futures become clear. We are better equipped to realize a prosperous and sustainable tomorrow with a shared vision of the roads ahead.

Founding Principles - Shared principles designed to foster open collaboration, respect, and trust on Open Foresight Hub:

  1. Open Foresight Hub is an encyclopedia, library, and futures collaboration space.
  2. Open Foresight Hub seeks to collectively discern and decolonize visions of a better tomorrow.
  3. Open Foresight Hub promotes diverse perspectives that enrich everyone’s understanding.
  4. Open Foresight Hub fosters a civil and collaborative environment.
  5. Open Foresight Hub is free for anyone to use, edit, and distribute under a CC BY-SA license.
  6. Open Foresight Hub has no firm rules.
